FAQ
1. How do I nominate my business?
You don’t need to nominate your business to be a part of Retail Employer of the Year. A nomination is activated by a vote for your brand. As soon as your business has received a single vote, you are automatically in the running.
Once you have been nominated Your local Retailworld Account Manager will reach out and provide you with a campaign information pack via email. Upon being notified of your nomination you may choose to opt out of the award.
2. How are the winners chosen?
Winners are chosen based on the number of votes received. We encourage you to campaign and promote your brand – pitch to the market why they should vote for you!
For more information about the award visit ‘about the award’ above.
3. How can I encourage people to vote for my brand?
It’s up to you how you chose to campaign and encourage your team, and the general public to vote – to help you out we have put together a downloadable file with marketing materials that you can use as part of your campaign!

Retailworld will notify candidates about the award to raise the profile of careers within the retail industry and encourage votes. As a neutral third party, Retailworld will not be promoting any information through the Award campaign to sway voters.
4. What if someone votes twice?
The integrity of the awards programme is important to the wider employment market and also to the retail industry, we take this seriously. An email address is required to submit a vote. This will be stored throughout the campaign period to allow for one vote per person and to ensure the process is robust and fair.. To find out more visit our privacy policy.
